What is Connections? For years FBG has been dedicated to missions — reaching people with the gospel of Jesus Christ both locally and internationally. We seek to “connect” people in several ways.
- Helping people connect with the purpose for which they were created, chiefly to know, love and enjoy the one true God.
- Helping people connect with their neighbors and the nations by loving them well.
- Mobilizing people to help others do the first two. In doing this, we are all living on mission. Living on mission means that we are leveraging everything about our lives to help others be able to follow Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
Living on Mission
A way we encourage people to connect with their neighbors and share the love of Christ is through five missional practices summarized in the acronym: B.L.E.S.S.
- Begin with prayer.
- Listen.
- Eat.
- Serve.
- Story.
