Connections (Missions)

What is Connections? For years FBG has been dedicated to missions — reaching people with the gospel of Jesus Christ both locally and internationally. We seek to “connect” people in several ways.

  1. Helping people connect with the purpose for which they were created, chiefly to know, love and enjoy the one true God.
  2. Helping people connect with their neighbors and the nations by loving them well.
  3. Mobilizing people to help others do the first two. In doing this, we are all living on mission. Living on mission means that we are leveraging everything about our lives to help others be able to follow Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

 A few ways to get involved (there are more, but these should get you started!):

 

Juvenile Detention Center Ministry

Join faithful people engaging teens with the Gospel and weekly Bible studies in the Williamson County Juvenile Detention Center.  For more information contact Paula Myers,  .

Texas Baptist Men

 Merry Christmas with Love

One of the biggest community outreaches for FBG is the annual Merry Christmas with Love Ministry. Each year we show the love of Christ and share the Gospel by meeting some of the needs of hundreds of families in Georgetown.  Click here to get find out more and get involved.
