Events

Throughout the year we have a variety of events and classes, each with a specific purpose. You'll see events designed to grow relationships, to serve others, and to help students take their next step of faith.

A few guidelines for our events: if you ever have a question if this is "for you," just ask. If finances are ever an issue, let us know. If you are a parent and ever want to help out, don't hesitate to offer.

First Midweek of the Semester

Wednesday, January 8, 2025

On Wednesday evenings during the school year, our students join together for a time of worship. In this service, called Midweek, we challenge students to step up and lead. We are committed to hearing the stories of how God is at work in the lives of our students and celebrating His faithfulness to act.

Winter Retreat

Thursday, February 13 - Monday, February 17, 2025

One of our favorite events of the year, designed to facilitate a week of Deep Discipleship opportunities and faith conversations while at Sonlight Camp, through the town of Pagosa Springs, and Skiing on the slopes of Wolf Creek Ski Area. During the evenings at Sonlight Camp, we will gather as a large group for a teaching time to grow in our faith and leadership. 

• This trip will be for 3 different types of attendees at 3 different prices: 

• Option: People who want to ski 1 or 2 days

• Option 2: People who don't want to ski, but still want to experience Colorado and more mild winter activities. Winter activities may include and are not limited to: sledding/tubing, shopping/tourism in Pagosa Springs, snow shoeing, outdoor hot tubbing, & ice skating.

High School Dwell Camp | Glorieta, NM

Our high schoolers will be headed back to Glorieta, NM this summer! We will gather with churches from all over to worship, learn, play games, and grow closer to the Lord!

Launchbox Student Mission Trip | Richardson, TX

Sunday, July 13 - Friday, July 18, 2025

Another one of our favorite events of the year! This event is for ALL students 6th-12th grade. We will be headed back to Richardson, Texas this year to serve with IGoGlobal. This ministry is designed to allow students to engage least-reached peoples while receiving quality training that will launch them into a life on mission here in Georgetown.
